• 22 laminar flow work benches
• 4 independent dissection rooms
• 5 growth rooms (each capacity 1m plant/annum)
• Separate Quarantine area and growth room for imported plants (DAFF authorised)
Human Resources
Our Laboratory Manager has a Master’s degree and over 20 years’ experience in tissue culture propagation, commercial production including research and development of new protocols
We employ 30 fully trained laboratory technicians, all from very diverse previously disadvantaged backgrounds, all of whom have in house training and competence levels for quality propagation
Production experience
The production team has cut and propagated well over 8 million plants and in addition to local sales we have exported a wide variety of products
We work closely with SAPO, Hortgrow and the Department of Quarantine Services to ensure production and imports of the highest quality genetic rootstock material, for supply to the various fruit producer organisations.
